Exiled from Court takes place in Albarzia in the 19th century, a fictional setting based on Brazil well-known for its immoral and mischievous citizens and its monarchy's corruption.
You play as The Hedonist, a young noble exiled from court looking to find their way back.
- Play as male, female or non-binary, with your gender impacting the world around you;

- Fight to be reinstated at Court;

one thing i felt was missing was to call out MC's father for being a hypocrite; he's in love with a Republican but disowned his child for being involved with a cult leader (which, yea, a bit of a red flag) who also was very much against the Emperor. tbh i feel like Nicholas would not be a fan of that so i kinda hope it would be addressed in that route
kind of like 'seducing-your-sister's-fiancée' route. i like that you can be angry both at your father (who has an affair of his own) and Harry (it takes two to cheat, after all), who got the better end of the deal, or so it seems. and i'm very curious how they got found out, there's obviously a reason why this couldn't have been resolved quietly

God, I wanted to sock the father sooooo bad! Such a hypocrite; it really boils my blood. Though, I understand MC has to finally grow up and take responsibility; I'm kinda sad we (potentially) have to stop our Hoeing ways T^T, and become a mature adult (boooo).

Mine wasn’t even the fiancé. I bang ONE cult leader on the reg for a few weeks (read months 😅) and suddenly I’m a “ disgrace” but he can have a whole ass boyfriend behind Mom’s back?
God, I really wanted the option to "shrug him off", when he placed his hand on my MC's shoulder near the end. Like, don't touch me, you patronizing hypocrite! Gosh, my daddy issues really showed themselves during this chapter XD

love this game and the pc <3 my daddy issues rly popped out in ch4 esp with the cult and affair versions. if i ever need a good cry i can rely on the the cult vers :') incredibly well written and i love the hedonist's dynamic with their father.

So sorry for the delayed response. Have you been able to fix this?
Unfortunately it's still an error.
Might be due to a HTML5 safety feature protecting local storage from being read.
That's a shame :-( Have you tried alloiwing all cookies?

I'm so glad I found this again and it's just as lovely as I remember! unfortunately, whenever I try to save the game (whether in a save slot or in an attempt to save to disk) an error message pops up saying it's not supported---and my computer doesn't usually have any issues saving Twine-based games :(
